Brooks has been an avid computer gamer and programmer for over 20 years. Starting in the 80's with Commodore 64's all the way up to modern PC's, Brooks has always been a fan of sports sims, including Micro League Baseball, Baseball Stars, Tony LaRussa Baseball, Omni Play Basketball, etc. all the way to modern sports sims like Fast Break Basketball and OOTP baseball.
After being a commissioner in baseball and basketball sports leagues for many years, and after finding a lack of a good football sim that supported online features, Brooks developed and released Pro Football Simulator in 2009. The game continues to evolve and is still under active development.
